How to use your PDA/Smartphone as Web camera.

1. You should install WebCamera Plus on Desktop PC and device (versions on PDA and Desktop PC should be identical).
2. Connect PDA (or Smartphone) to Desktop PC via ActiveSync (through USB or Bluetooth).
3. On Desktop PC start application you need (Skype, for example), choose "WebCamera Plus" capture device and start video chat.
4. Start WebCamera Plus on device.
6. Press left soft key ('Start') on device.

You can connect your device through Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/GPRS/EDGE/LAN without ActiveSync. In this case you should enter Server (Desktop PC) IP-address in "Setings" dialog on device (Menu->Settings->Network) .
How to use CoolCapture application.

If you want to capture PDA screen to AVI-file:
1. Run CoolCapture (Start->Programs->CoolCapture)
2. Set 'Video' mode.
3. Press Action button. CoolCapture will be minimized, and video recording will be started.
4. To stop video recording start CoolCapture again. (very useful to set Hardware button for CoolCapture or CoolCamera)

If you want to capture PDA screen to jpeg-file:
1. Run CoolCapture (Start->Programs->CoolCapture)
2. Set 'Photo' mode.
3. Press Action button. CoolCapture application will be minimized.
4. To take screenshort start CoolCapture again. (its very useful to set hardware button for CoolCapture or CoolCamera)

About Interval Mode

Interval mode allows automatic photo capturing.
For example, you can set up your device to capture photo every 4 seconds.

Advantages of interval mode:

1) Ability to take group photo, where all your friends and you will be on one photo.
2) Ability to take fast seriese of images ("Sport" mode).
2) Improved picture quality because you can eliminate slight trembling of hand that will give blurred images.
3) Noise reduction for static scenes using frames accumulation.

CoolCamera takes some quantity of snapshots, and combines them into one image with noise reduced.

How to use Interval Mode:

To start capture please press 'Action' button (in Interval Mode). To stop capture please press 'Action' button again.

One useful feature: the first photo will be taken in 3 seconds after start of capturing.

To change interval between snapshots, change 'Interval'->'Delay' menu item.
You can select delay from 0 sec to 10 min. If you set 'Delay'='0 sec', CoolCamera will be taking pictures at maximum speed (very fast in low resolution).

To enable accumulation feature, please change 'Interval'->'Accumulation' menu item. You can accumulate up to 256 frames. If you want to disable this feature, please set 'Accumulation'='1 frame'.

Restriction of unregisterd version: process will be stoped in 10 seconds after first picture will be captured.
